Early on Tuesday, October 20, an SUV tried to evade police pursuit and drove the wrong way down Northern State Parkway, according Long Island News 12. The SUV crashed into another car east of exit 41. Two people died as a result of this fatal crash around 2:30 a.m. Police closed the freeway between exits 41 and 42 after the accident.
Clearly, the car being pursued by the authorities and driving the wrong way down the freeway was at fault for causing the accident. The driver of the car that the SUV struck was killed which is why the outcome of the accident could lead to a wrongful death suit.
