What does New York No-Fault pay for?
New York No-Fault insurance covers individuals that are hurt in motor vehicle accidents. It will pay for all healthcare treatment, lost wages and other incidentals up to $50,000. In order to receive these benefits, you must complete a No-Fault application and send it to your insurance carrier within 30 days.
The benefits of No-Fault insurance are that you do not need referrals to see doctors, there are no co-payments and no pre-approvals are needed. However, your insurance carrier can request that you see an independent medical doctor from time to time to determine if the treatment that you are receiving is necessary and appropriate.
We can help you make sure your No-Fault insurance is properly covering your bills.
